What is it about those pesticides?/30 or more on a tomato to make you cry/forty-eight in your apples/can make you die/slowly/these can’t be the apple a day/it won’t make the doctor go away/but he may get paid/and carcinogens/without even smokin’/and pesticide strawberries/they may keep your coughin’/or contaminated in a far worse way/so my people /let’s say/with our vote/it’s not okay/to treat our bodies and mother earth this way/and buy bananas that are fair trade/so that we can make a way/for others to thrive/non-organic baby foods/ a BIG lie/no real nutrition at all inside/pesticides food will make a baby cry/because of their more vulnerable nervous systems/so instead of non-organic fruits/kiss them/this will bring more good health/just like you wouldn’t beat a baby with a belt/by buying organic you will help/support local farmers/see these men and women shouldn’t have their arms up/but it’s the agribusinesses that may be to blame/but really I’m not stating any names/just really want things to change/so that our grains/would not have to rain/with dangerous herbicides/and this causes the water to rise/with toxic mess/and as you can guess/the cucumbers are next/sprayed with Dieldrin/with this pesticide you can’t win/and ingest too much and Cancer could be your kin/it’s not whether or when/we must call our friends/and put an end/to this mass destruction/on the foods we eat/and I myself will jump dynamic feats/just to eat/organic fruits/and yes even the vegetables and their roots/let’s care more than about being cute/it’s not a dispute/non-organic produce/IT’S BAD FOR YOU!

People, in this country, we must demand and support organic farming.  This method of farming uses and waste for less water than big business farming.  It is much more gentler on the earth and on our bodies.

Everytime we buy organic, we are saying with our dollars that we care about and support good health, not just good health for our families but for the planet as well.  We must write our local politicians demanding that they make “green living” the standard, not the exception.

We can make a difference at the poll by requesting that our food production in this society be changed to one that is more sustainable, and conscious of the health of the growers as well as the consumer.

Vote with your dollars! BUY ORGANIC NOW!

Peace and Blessings

  2. I am quite passionate about this energy I’m finding on your page. Even in your words, there is so much that exudes your desire to nurture and raise up everyone. While you have a focus on the women and people of color, you do not exclude anyone and I have deep appreciation for this. – Hasna’
